They set off at a speed that seems to come from funeral doom and really they never stretch far past that. Early Cianide are the kings of slow death metal. Ark makes even bands like Alunah who play stoner metal sound like theyre going along at a fairly rapid rate of naughts. And yes I know that thats hard thats why Im asking this request here because a lot of depressing metal is black metal.
